cyber, computerSchafer Corp. has received a three-year task order to help the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency manage research and development work in the computing, analytics and cyber areas, C4ISR & Networks reported Friday.

Tony Ware writes that the company will also deliver scientific, engineering and technical services to the agency’s information innovation office.

The order falls under the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command’s Seaport-e contract vehicle.

Wesley Blankinship, senior vice president for Schafer’s government services unit, was quoted as saying the deal extends the company’s decades-long support of DARPA.

The business intends to deploy more than 70 staff members to help the agency plan and execute information technology R&D projects, according to Ware’s article.
