Elbit Systems has been awarded a three-year, $290 million contract to install night vision technology into combat tanks for an Asian-Pacific customer.
The company will also provide equipment such as gunner sights and fire control systems to the international client for tank modernization, Elbit said Thursday.
“Asia-Pacific is one of Elbit Systems’ key markets and we are very glad to announce yet another success in this region,” said Bezhalel Machilis, Elbit president and CEO.
Elbit builds electro-optic, communication, unmanned and C4ISR systems for defense, homeland security and commercial aerospace usage.
The Haifa, Israel-based contractor also offers simulation and training support services.
