CACI International has landed a potential five-year, $66 million task order under the U.S. Navy’s SeaPort Next Generation contract vehicle to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division.

The company said Monday it will deploy engineers and experts to meet NSWC Carderock’s complex technical demands and program requirements.

CACI CEO’s Remarks

John Mengucci, CACI president and CEO and a six-time Wash100 awardee, said, “In today’s rapidly evolving naval landscape, it is imperative that we understand the unique challenges and critical missions of the Navy, and assist sailors and civilians in meeting the urgency of the moment.”

He added, “Our team, powered by technology and data-driven insights, ensures the Navy can address both pressing and evolving needs — including ship collision response, submarine control and maneuvering simulations, and the development of autonomous ships and systems.”

About SeaPort NxG

SeaPort NxG is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that streamlines the Navy’s acquisition of professional support services. It allows new industry partners to join through rolling admissions.

In January, the Navy awarded contract positions to 1,023 companies as part of SeaPort NxG’s second rolling admissions. The Navy expects to procure roughly $5 billion in services annually through this vehicle.
