Enhancing Cybersecurity Through Proper Training
Hack The Box specializes in cybersecurity upskilling, certification and talent assessment. It aims to provide cybersecurity professionals with the proper training to enhance their offensive and defensive security capabilities through gamified exercises, hands-on challenges and interactive learning materials. It leverages its two-million-strong community to develop various cybersecurity issues or hacking scenarios that can help in the upskilling process. Furthermore, Hack The Box helps customers achieve Continuing Professional Education, or CPE, credits and other necessary certifications.
HTB’s cybersecurity training platform utilizes an intuitive dashboard that enables administrators to monitor progress and workforce readiness. It also employs a Read, Act and Test methodology similar to the Observe, Orient, Decide, Act, or OODA, Loop.
Alex Whitworth, cybersecurity solutions vertical executive at Carahsoft, stressing that federal agencies are faced with increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, said, “Hack The Box’s platform offers invaluable, hands-on exercises that prepare employees to effectively tackle complex challenges, thereby bolstering our nation’s overall security and resilience.”
Seth Tossie, vice president of global channel sales at Hack The Box, added, “This collaboration empowers us to deliver real-world cybersecurity challenges on a secure virtual platform, helping government organizations enhance their capabilities and better protect our nation’s critical assets.”
