Executive Mosaic, your go-to events and media connection point for the government contracting industry, has unveiled the winners of the 2025 Wash100 Award. The list comprises the individuals, across government and industry, who have been tapped as the most influential for the coming year. It includes agency leaders, trailblazing technologists, reliable veterans and disruptive new faces.
An overwhelming influx of nominations from the public—more than double last year’s submissions—were considered while EM’s senior leadership tirelessly vetted and evaluated thousands of candidates. The 100 chosen represent the best and brightest that GovCon has to offer, with about two-thirds hailing from the industrial base, a fourth from the public sector and a small sliver from other entities like investment firms and academia.
“The 2025 Wash100 Award shines a spotlight on the leaders who are redefining what’s possible in the GovCon industry, especially during what we’re sure will be a year of major transformation in the sector,” shared Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic Wash100 Award founder.
“As always, this year’s recipients embody the qualities that drive progress: bold leadership, inventive thinking and an unyielding dedication to excellence. These 100 visionaries are not only shaping today’s government and industry landscapes but are also laying the groundwork for a more innovative and resilient future. We are proud to celebrate their accomplishments and the transformative impact they will make in the year ahead,” Garrettson continued.

About the Wash100 Award
The award was established in 2014 by Executive Mosaic as a celebration of those demonstrating exceptional leadership, innovation, vision, reliability and achievement in GovCon. To join its ranks is considered an immense honor and a confirmation that a transformative leader has arrived on the scene and is cementing an unforgettable legacy serving the American mission.
What’s Next?
The list announcement brings with it a flurry of activity that will last through the first quarter of the year and well into the second.
Beginning next week, profiles of each winner will be posted daily on the Wash100 website spotlighting their accomplishments, career and qualifications.
Concurrently, Garrettson and his team will work to hand-deliver each award. Anticipate videos documenting these visits on LinkedIn, YouTube and other social channels, as well as articles in the pages of this publication and our sister outlets, GovCon Wire and ExecutiveGov.
Finally, we’ve saved the best for last: the 2024 Wash100 popular vote contest is now underway!
