M5B Global and Bowhead have agreed to establish a joint venture, called Bowhead M5B Global, to combine their strengths and technologies and expand the delivery of their offerings to new and emerging markets globally.
The partnership is expected to drive significant growth and help achieve mission success, M5B Global said Saturday in a LinkedIn post.
M5B Global is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business specializing in foreign military sales while Bowhead is an Alaska native company that works to support defense and civilian government agencies.
“By combining Bowhead’s deep industry expertise with M5B Global’s total package approach to Foreign Military Sales and global reach, we are set to create unprecedented value for our customers and shareholders,” said Mike Hundley, president of UIC Government Services and the Bowhead family of companies.
Bowhead, in partnership with CACI International and Expansia, won a blanket purchase agreement in January to provide enterprise service desk and unified endpoint management in support of the Department of the Air Force’s Enterprise Information Technology as a Service Wave 1 program.
The company also secured a spot in the U.S. Army’s five-year, $900 million communications infrastructure support contract in 2023.
