The U.S. Navy has awarded StandardAero and two other companies positions on an $81.7 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to repair K34 marine gas turbine engines.
StandardAero, represented by the government contracting agency Canadian Commercial Corp., was selected to compete for orders in the IDIQ along with RWG Repair & Overhauls USA and Hanwha Aerospace, the Department of Defense said.
The agreement has a five-year ordering period.
The selected companies will perform and complete the work requirements at their respective local facilities: Ottawa, Canada for StandardAero; Houston, Texas for RWG Repair & Overhauls USA; and Changwon, South Korea for Hanwha Aerospace.
All contractors will coordinate closely with the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s Philadelphia Division in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the project’s work management.
