Deltek has chosen Margo Martin and Rebecca Harness as the newest members of its C-level executive team.
The enterprise software provider said Tuesday Martin, a Deltek veteran, was promoted to senior vice president and chief customer officer while Harness, a former Quickbase executive, was named VP and chief information security officer.
Martin will oversee Deltek’s global customer operations, building on her previous responsibilities as group vice president of customer success. As CCO, one of her main responsibilities is forming and maintaining relationships with the customer base worldwide while making sure the company’s services are maximized for their businesses.
The executive has over 25 years of experience working for Deltek. Martin started in 1998 as a senior support analyst before being promoted to senior manager of support. The customer success specialist also held various leadership roles, including senior director of customer care, VP of global support and VP of customer success.
On the other hand, Harness was VP and CISO at Quickbase before her appointment at Deltek. She will now lead the company’s global information security team.
The cybersecurity expert also served as assistant VP and CISO at Saint Louis University and as principal and cyber risk adviser at Pericuro.
Martin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from San Diego State University. Harness, meanwhile, graduated from Hastings College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Communications. She also finished her Master of Science in Information Security Engineering at SANS Technology Institute.
