Jim Lee, a former executive at Maxar Technologies, was named senior vice president, chief legal officer and corporate secretary at Seagate Technology.
The data storage innovator said Monday Lee was SVP, general counsel and corporate secretary during his five-year stint at Maxar and will now lead Seagate’s legal team in his new role.
He will have oversight of all legal operations, government relations, and public policy at Seagate.
Prior to joining Maxar, Lee spent 15 years at Aramak, culminating in the role of SVP and deputy general counsel responsible for the legal functions for Aramark Uniform Services and Aramark Refreshment Services.
“As an accomplished public company general counsel, Jim brings a wealth of experience and broad legal knowledge that make him well suited for this role with Seagate,” said Seagate CEO Dave Mosley. “I look forward to his contributions as we continue to innovate breakthrough storage technology to capture the tremendous data growth opportunities ahead.”
