Redhorse Corporation has acquired Gainesville, Virginia-headquartered Allied Associates International for an undisclosed sum in a push to expand its cybersecurity and data product offerings for the government sector.
The company said Tuesday it will integrate A2I’s cyber intelligence products with its existing artificial intelligence, data analytics and engineering portfolio supporting national security missions.
Established in 2008, A2I provides data-driven cyber intelligence, software engineering and product development support services to the defense, law enforcement and intelligence communities.
A2I’s existing leadership team will operate the company as a business unit under the Redhorse enterprise.
“The combination of A2I’s highly qualified and respected team with Redhorse’s analytics capabilities firmly establishes the combined entity as a premier National Security platform that has an extensive track record of delivering comprehensive and innovative solutions that address our nation’s most complex challenges,” said John Zangardi, CEO of Redhorse and a two-time Wash100 awardee.
Baird acted as the exclusive financial adviser to A2I on the transaction.
