Oshkosh‘s defense business has secured a $103 million award from the U.S. Army for bilateral modification work on the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle Family of Vehicles in support of Foreign Military Sales customers.
The Department of Defense said Friday Oshkosh Defense will perform contract efforts at its Wisconsin location through June 30, 2024.
Army Contracting Command obligated the full contract modification amount at the time of the award. Funds were from the FMS allocation of Brazil, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro and Romania.
In mid-December, the defense contractor was also awarded a $543.5 million deal to continue helping the Army deploy its JLTV.
The vehicles are designed to provide protected mobility as well as support integrated command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations. They were fitted with the company’s TAK-4i intelligent independent suspension system.
