William “Terry” Burruss, a national security and intelligence expert who was with CIA’s Directorate of Digital Innovation, has joined LookingGlass Cyber Solutions‘ advisory board.
He and other board members will advise LookingGlass on strategic efforts to grow its public sector footprint, the global cybersecurity company said Monday.
Burruss has over 32 years of experience working as a cybersecurity specialist for the U.S. government. He served as deputy chief of DDI’s cyber intelligence center at CIA, where he supervised operations focused on foreign cyber threats to the U.S.
“Terry built the CIA’s first combined mission unit focused on understanding and countering the foreign cyberthreat, and we are fortunate to have someone of this caliber join our advisory team,” said LookingGlass CEO Bryan Ware.
Burruss also currently serves as an advisory board member of Forge Institute and a senior content manager at Billington Cybersecurity.
