Nelson Ford, former president and CEO of LMI and the 29th under secretary of the Army, was awarded the 2011 Technology Good Scout recognition from the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
He currently serves as a board member at Acus Foundation, a Berkeley, California-based organization whose mission is to facilitate the integration of medical acupuncture into conventional military care.
Aside from having previously led LMI, Ford’s career also includes time working as assistant secretary of the Army for financial management, deputy assistant secretary for health budgets and financial Policy in the Department of Defense as well as chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Georgetown University Medical Center.
