Six private and educational organizations have received contracts from the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity to design computer-based data analytic architectures.
IARPA said Monday contractors for the Advanced Graphic Intelligence Logical Computing Environment program will explore mechanisms to help government analysts access, transfer and store different streams of complex data.
Intel Federal, Advanced Micro Devices, Qualcomm Intelligent Solutions, Georgia Tech Research Corp., the Trustees of Indiana University and the University of Chicago will carry out work under the AGILE effort.
The agency also expects research teams to develop tools for the analysis of information from multiple sources.
IARPA created the program with the Army Research Laboratory and awarded the contracts through a broad agency announcement originally released in November 2021.
