The Internal Revenue Service is conducting market research into cloud-based platforms that could help the agency’s acquisition personnel automate and standardize its approach to evaluating vendors in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations.
In a Sept. 15 sources sought notice, the IRS said it is exploring the availability of an automated solicitation evaluation tool that holds Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification and includes an option to work as a cloud service.
The agency seeks a commercial off-the-shelf platform capable of supporting various functions such as document management, scoring, auditing and reporting.
Interested parties should describe their technical capabilities and submit input before Oct. 13.
