An operating subsidiary of CACI International has secured a U.S. Navy contract worth up to $31.3 million to handle naval force logistics services for the U.S. Fleet Forces Command.
CACI Technologies will oversee and manage logistics-related processes for the Navy’s service component command to support its naval operations forces. Work includes conducting inspections, automating information systems, aligning business processes, conducting inventory, reviewing financial management and facilitating training on global logistics support, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract was solely sourced and has a base period of six months with a three-month extension option. The base award is worth $20.8 million while the option is valued at $10.5 million.
Majority of the work under the commitment will be performed across the continental U.S. until May 2023.
