Acronis SCS has introduced a suite of cloud-based information technology tools for managed service providers to help public sector customers protect and back up data.
The company said Tuesday it designed Cyber Protect Cloud to support government security requirements with data and malware protection, endpoint management and automatic backup features of the new product.
More than 19 third-party providers of IT and cloud services have adopted the product suite, Acronis SCS noted.
Cyber Protect Cloud was built to comply with security provisions from the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s 800-171 special publication, Federal Information Processing Standard 140-2 and the Healthcare Portability and Accountability Act.
“By offering a cloud-based backup that integrates cybersecurity and data protection into one manageable solution, we are on the path to ensuring the public sector is properly protected,” said John Zanni, CEO of Acronis SCS.
