A Raytheon Technologies-led team will help the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency mature software for the second phase of a military planning technology being developed to support the agency's Mosaic Warfare strategy.
Raytheon BBN Technologies aims to further develop a decision aid platform as part of DARPA's Adapting Cross-Domain Kill-Webs program to help commanders determine available resources or assets across air, space, land, maritime and cyber domains, the company said Tuesday.
During Phase 1, the team demonstrated the potential of its Anytime Reasoning and Analysis for Kill-Web Negotiation and Instantiation across Domains software to explore multiple options and recommend courses of action.
"In Phase 2, we’ll grow that capability to include even more complex scenarios and more diverse assets, and we’ll provide explanations for the system’s recommendations to commanders," said Brad Tousley, president of Raytheon BBN Technologies.
