Stephanie Shutt, director of the Multiple Award Schedules program management office at the General Services Administration, has said GSA will start the process of consolidating the schedules into a single contract vehicle in 2019, Nextgov reported Wednesday.
Shutt said a project team consists of MAS officials and members will assess all terms and conditions to identify overlap among special item numbers and address redundancy.
GSA announced plans in November to combine 24 schedules into a single procurement vehicle.
Shutt noted that GSA plans to kick off the MAS consolidation effort’s second phase in January 2020 and onboard existing contract holders into the consolidated schedule.
