Deloitte has received contracts to provide a cloud-based enterprise information technology platform for the integration of new modules into the Medicaid systems being used in Montana, Ohio, Virginia and Wyoming.
The company said Tuesday it will help state agencies implement the HealthInteractive Platform to address system modularity and interoperability requirements.
The platform is based on IBM‘s Cloud technology that uses enterprise software products such as IBM Cloud for VMware.
All four states collaborate with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to produce a legacy system transition roadmap.
“As we developed our MES HealthInteractive Platform, we recognized that states implementing new CMS guidelines need a more flexible and extensible system,†said Brian Erdahl, a principal at Deloitte Consulting.
“We designed this platform specifically for the new modular MES implementation life cycle, helping guide our clients’ integration efforts and allowing them to accelerate their implementations,†Erdahl added.
