Global Data Systems and Carahsoft Technology have partnered to offer cloud services to federal, state and local government agencies and academic organizations in 15 states through the NASPO ValuePoint procurement program.
GDS said Thursday its managed cloud services will help agencies modernize aging legacy systems, leverage big data and deploy enterprise mobility networks, among other things.
The Lafayette, La.-based company also plans to support government clients in efforts to manage IT equipment and storage investments, deployment application efficiency and personnel training.
Wade Berzas, vice president of sales at GDS, said Carahsoft’s customer service experience aligns with the managed services provider’s core focus.
“We are equally excited to be able to expand our offerings to state agencies and to aid them in simplifying the complexity of managing aging data center infrastructure by replacing it with our Managed Private Cloud Services,â€Â Berzas added.
