Leidos has been added to Forbes’ Best Employers for Diversity list that seeks to recognize companies for their diversity inclusion programs in the workplace.
The company said Monday it landed the 159th spot on the list of top 250 employers across all sectors in the U.S.
“Diversity is a driving force within our culture of innovation at Leidos,” said Ann Addison, chief human resources officer at Leidos.
“We believe that focus on diversity and inclusion improves team performance, influences innovative business strategies, and drives positive results by advancing our workforce, and advancing our reputation in the marketplace,†she added.
Leidos has seven employee resource groups that work to promote workplace diversity and inclusion through community outreach, education, recruitment and professional networks.
Forbes teamed up with Statista to poll 30,000 employees and determined a company’s score through inclusion and diversity at the executive level, public perception score, employee recommendations and key performance indicators in diversity.
Leidos was also named to Bloomberg’s 2018 Gender-Equality Index in January.
