James Turgal, former executive assistant director of the FBI‘s information and technology branch, has been appointed as a managing director within the cyber risk services practice at Deloitte‘s risk and financial advisory segment.
He will advise clients on cyber incident response, cyber war-gaming and cyber resilience, Deloitte said Tuesday.
In his previous role, Turgal oversaw all applications, corporate systems, infrastructure and operations for the FBI’s global information and technology organization.
His 21-year career at the bureau also includes time as chief human capital officer and human resources division head.
Turgal joined FBI from Phoenix, Arizona-based law firm Jacobs & Turgal, where he was co-owner and litigation partner.
