Steven Esposito, former president of SLI Global Solutions‘ government solutions division, has been promoted to president and CEO of the Silver Spring, Maryland-based professional services company.
SLI said Tuesday Esposito will oversee the company’s corporate strategy and execution as well as lead efforts to grow systems development oversight market footprint and expand the firm’s children and family services program.
Esposito has more than 30 years of leadership experience in information technology and program operations.
In his previous role, Esposito directed SLI’s state and local government practice and was responsible for the delivery of project management and quality assurance services for government IT projects.
He joined SLI from Maximus, where he served as senior vice president in charge of the systems integrity division within the firm’s consulting arm.
Esposito worked for 10 years at the State of Arizona’s Department of Economic Security in roles such as project manager and systems and automation administrator.
He also held a project manager post at Northrop Grumman‘s information systems business.
