Leidos has scored 100 percent in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s national benchmarking survey on workplace policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer employees.
The company said Thursday it received the “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality” designation due to its perfect score on HRC’s 2018 Corporate Equality Index.
Ann Addison, chief human resources officer of Leidos, said the company works to promote “a culture of innovation and high performance through diversity of thought, which is only achieved by embracing all perspectives of our employee population.”
The 2018 CEI assessed corporate LGBTQ-related policies and practices such as protections against workplace discrimination, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive healthcare benefits, competency programs and LGBTQ community outreach.
Leidos has a number of initiatives meant to boost inclusion and diversity, including the PRIDE Employee Resource Group that represents LGBTQ personnel at the company.
