Mike Flanagan, formerly vice president of the federal training and warfighter readiness division at CACI International, has joined nonprofit consulting firm LMI as regional director for southern Virginia.
LMI said Wednesday Flanagan will head the new southern Virginia regional office in support of the company’s effort to build on its national presence.
Ed Stanton, senior vice president of strategic growth at LMI, noted the new office will work to extend the company’s existing services to more government agencies in greater Virginia as part of its strategic plan.
Flanagan is a retired U.S. Army colonel who served in the service branch’s acquisition corps and has a Level 3 program management certification with the Defense Acquisition University.
He led project management offices for the Abrams tank system and military training devices and equipment while serving in the Army.
He is a member of the Association of the United States Army and the West Point Society of Richmond.
