Teresa Pace, formerly principal systems architect and engineer for the integrated sensor systems sector at L-3 Communications, has joined International Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing Research as director for federal and state programs.
ICAMR said Wednesday Pace will be in charge of helping the academic-industry consortium secure contracts with federal and state government agencies.
“Pace is a key leader in sensors and systems engineering,†said ICAMR CEO Chester Kennedy.
Prior to L-3, she worked at D&SCI’s SenTech subsidiary as director of engineering and at Lockheed Martin as chief engineer.
She spent two years as a subject matter expert on digital image and signal processing at the U.S. Army’s night vision and electronic sensors directorate.
Pace, who holds 14 patents, is a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and president of the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society.
She served as editor-in-chief of the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Magazine for six years and holds doctoral degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University.
