Leidos was named among the employers in the 2016 edition of Military Times’ annual “Best for Vets” list that ranks companies based on hiring and retention programs for military veterans.
The company, which ranked 43rd in the list, said Monday its Operation MVP program is designed to hire, train and support veterans and that veterans make up 15 percent of its workforce.
“Our veteran employees are important members of the Leidos team,” said Leidos Chief Human Resources Officer Sarah Allen.
“Their background and skillsets enrich our business and help build an inclusive workforce that positions us for success.”
The complete list of companies awarded can be found on the Military Times website.
The companies were selected based on the results of a survey that focuses on the areas of recruitment, training, career transitioning and company culture.
