Joni Fernbaugh, formerly director of strategic and clinical programs at IMS Health, has been named director of business development at Noblis.
Fernbaugh will also serve as a subject matter expert for the nonprofit science and technology organization’s health innovation-related missions, Noblis said March 7.
“Her practical experience managing oversight of federal health strategic planning and operations will serve as an asset to our health clients and the missions that are most critical to them now and in the future,” said Pat Brosey, vice president of business development and marketing at Noblis.
Prior to joining IMS Health, Fernbaugh previously worked at Unisys and served as business development executive for the information technology firm’s Military Health System and Department of Veterans Affairs accounts.
The 30-year federal health industry veteran founded BdExec Consulting in 2007 and held senior business development leadership roles at Science Applications International Corp., Computer Sciences Corp. and other technology firms.
Fernbaugh is a member of the Professional Services Council and the Health Information Management Systems Society.
