Parsons will deliver a presentation titled “Moving Engineering Firms to Cyberspaceâ€Â at the Digital Bond-hosted S4 security conference as one of the sponsors of the three-day event.
The 2016 S4 conference will be held from Jan. 12 to 14 in Miami Beach, Florida, and will tackle security issues related to industrial control systems and supervisory control and data acquisition platforms, Parsons said Wednesday.
“The need to protect our nation’s infrastructure is crucial, and this conference will bring together the best in industry to engage in technical exchanges about leading-edge offensive and defensive technologies to safeguard our nation from existing and emerging threats,” said Mary Ann Hopkins, Parsons group president.
The company will set up a booth at the conference to demonstrate how cyber threat actors could compromise critical infrastructures such as building management systems and electrical grid platforms like smart distribution switches.
