James Jasinski serves as vice president of federal business development and supply chain at Fortinet, where he has managed the company’s federal market strategic efforts since March 2015.
He previously worked in a senior VP position at Digital Signal Corp. from October 2013 to October 2014 and spent more than 10 years as executive VP of federal and state systems at  3M subsidiary Cogent Systems.
At Cogent, Jasinski oversaw the fingerprinting technology firm’s business development and project office and contract management functions in the federal and state government sectors from May 2002 to July 2012.
He also served as a vice president within DynCorp International‘s systems and solutions business unit between December 2000 and May 2002.
Before he joined the private sector, Jasinski held program management, field investigation and litigation roles at the FBI for more than 22 years.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a juris doctorate degree from Union University’s Albany Law School.
