Neil MacBride serves as a partner at Davis Polk, where he advises clients on foreign corrupt practices, economic sanctions, cybersecurity risks, fraud, False Claims Act violations, market manipulation, insider trading and securities.
He previously served as the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia prior to joining Davis Polk in 2014.
MacBride was the Attorney General Eric Holder to the Attorney General’s advisory committee and chair of its terrorism and national security subcommittee after his role as associate deputy attorney general at the Justice Department.
Between 2005 and 2008, he was the vice president and general counsel of the Business Software Alliance.
From 2001 through 2005, MacBride also served as chief counsel and staff director for then-Senator Joseph Biden Jr. on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
