Craig Ravenell, a retired U.S. Army colonel, has been appointed director of business development at Secure Communication Systems.
He will be based out of Orlando, Florida, and help the company build partnerships with defense and commercial organizations, Secure Communication Systems said Tuesday.
Ravenell will also oversee the company’s programs to build live fire audio/video training systems for cannon artillery weapons and unstabilized gunnery and degraded visual environment systems for rotary-wing aircraft.
He holds more than 23 years of military program management experience.
He previously managed the Army’s procurement of chemical and biological threat defense equipment and ballistic missiles as well as modeling, simulation and training platforms.
