Carahsoft has won an Institute for Excellence in Sales award for the company’s program that allows cloud service providers to offer VMware-based technology to government customers.
IES picked Carahsoft’s VMware vCloud Air Network Program to receive the 2015 IES Sales Award in the alliance management category, Carahsoft said Tuesday.
“This program provides value and support to our vendor partners and helps our government customers reduce the cost and speed  the implementation of their virtualization initiatives,” said John Lee, Carahsoft vice president for cloud solutions.
The company launched the vCAN program to offer pay-as-you-go licensing services and tools designed to help CSPs build and sell cloud computing products and services based on VMware technology.
