Douglas Lopez Promoted to COO at Engineering Services Network

Douglas Lopez, formerly head of Engineering Services Network‘s fleet support services division, will take the role of chief operating officer and work from the company’s offices in Chesapeake, Virginia.

ESN said Thursday Lopez has experience working with the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, the Military Sealift Command and U.S. Navy Echelon II and III fleet commanders.

Lopez served with the Marines, then joined the private sector as a quality and production officer at U.S. Robotics.

He has worked on information technology design, development and management, as well as engineering design for asynchronous transfer mode, Gigabit Ethernet networks and other technologies.

ESN said Douglas Lopez is also a subject-matter specialist on aircraft carrier networks.
