The Ohio State University has selected Chris Bush, a corporate vice president and manager of business development at Parsons, to receive the university’s 2015 Ralph Boyer Young Achiever Award.
OSU’s mechanical and aerospace engineering department is set to present the award to Bush at an event that will be held Friday on campus, Parsons said Tuesday.
Bush was recognized for his contributions to his field of expertise before age 40.
“Chris has demonstrated great leadership ability at Parsons, including support to the U.S. Navy’s Grow the Force initiative on behalf of the Marine Corps’ infrastructure expansion program in San Diego,” said Mary Ann Hopkins, Parsons group president and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2015.
Bush, a 14-year industry veteran, joined Parsons in 2004 and oversees the company’s business development activities in the Middle East and Africa.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from OSUÂ and a master’s degree in construction management from the University of Southern California.
