Chuck McGann, chief cyber strategist at CRGT, has joined the Government Technology Research Alliance as a member of the group’s technology advisory board.
CRGT said Tuesday the alliance’s goal is to facilitate technology collaboration between the government and industry through executive briefings, roundtables, knowledge exchange panel discussions, council meetings and summits.
“Chuck brings a wealth of experience and knowledge about the most pressing federal cyber threats and we are thrilled about his new role with CRGT, as he will contribute valuable strategies for filling the cybersecurity resource gap,†said Kelly Yocum, GTRA co-founder and executive director.
McGann served as corporate information security officer at the U.S. Postal Service before he moved to CRGT in December 2014.
He oversees the Reston, Virginia-based company’s strategic programs intended to drive growth of its federal civilian business area.
