Ronald Poussard was recently appointed executive vice president for business development and contracts at Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, a small business with offices in Texas and Virginia.
His new duties include overseeing the company’s contracting activities and new business pursuits in support of the Defense Department and related agencies in the U.S. and with allies.
“With both contracts and business development in my title, I will initially focus on understanding ACT I’s current contractual relationships and leading ACT I’s efforts to build on those relationships,” Poussard said.
Poussard previously served as director of contract and grants policy at NASA headquarters from July 2011 until his retirement from federal civil service this February.
He retired as a 12-year member of the Senior Executive Service with at least 30 years of government contracting and acquisition management experience.
He has also held leadership positions at DoD and the U.S. Air Force, including as the Air Force director of small business programs and deputy director of defense procurement and acquisition policy.
