Neel Mehta
John Allen serves as CEO and co-founder of Bluestone Capital Partners, where he directs customer relationships, daily operations and strategic planning.
Allen was co-owner of Windsor Group until its acquisition by BB&T Corp. in 2005 before he co-founded Bluestone.
He also founded Windsor Capital Partners Fund I after he served as president of Quarterdeck Investment Partners, an investment banking firm focused on aerospace, defense and information technology companies.
Allen currently serves on the boards of Northern Virginia Technology Council, CIS Secure Computing, Iron Bow Technologies and SE Solutions Inc.
He previously served on the boards of Advanced Engineering & Research Associates, BB&T Capital Partners I Windsor Mezzanine Fund, Quarterdeck Investment Partners and Sentech.
Allen holds a master’s degree in business administration studies from American University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Florida.
