Keith Salisbury serves as area director for U.S. federal sales at Silicon Valley-based cloud computing and big data analytics software maker Pivotal.
Salisbury is a 13-year veteran of EMC, where he more recently led that company’s business with defense and intelligence agencies and oversaw a team of more than 1,300 people around the world, with 1,000 workers that supported the Defense Department and 300 people that worked with the intelligence community.
His other roles at EMC included leadership over the company’s government relations office, where he led a team that represented EMC to Congress and worked with oversight and appropriations committees.
Salisbury is also a 14-year Navy veteran, where he served as a Navy SEAL officer and was assigned to the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, SEAL Team Eight and SEAL Team Two.
He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy.
