Ashish Mahadwar to Lead CSC’s Strategic Business as EVP, GM

Ashish Mahadwar, formerly a Cognizant senior vice president, has joined Computer Sciences Corp. as executive vice president and general manager for that company’s strategic business.

Mahadwar will report to CSC President and CEO Mike Lawrie and will be responsible for promoting growth in the company’s line of big data, cloud computing and cybersecurity products and services, the company said Wednesday.

“Ashish’s proven leadership and industry experience will build on the progress we’ve already achieved in our big data, cloud and cybersecurity businesses as well as applications modernization and mobility,” said Lawrie.

“We can finally bring it all together in a more integrated approach to drive innovation for our clients.”

Mahadwar is an 11-year veteran of Cognizant and a co-founder of Planetasia.com.
