Iron Mountain has expanded its global in-house delivery center in Bangalore, India to span more than 56,929 square feet of space in a hub that has nearly 450 employees.
Iron Mountain Services’ GIDC is located at the Bagmane World Technology Center in Mahadevpura and works to provide customers software development and information technology services, the company said June 6.
Christo Mekkattukulam, general manager and vice president of service delivery at Iron Mountain Services Pvt Ltd., heads the Bangalore facility and its employees to provide IT services to Iron Mountain office locations in North America, Europe, Latin and Pacific regions of Asia.
“India has always been a very important market for Iron Mountain,” said Tasos Tasolakis, executive vice president and chief information and global services officer.
“We have grown three folds in the last three years in India and this has encouraged us to invest further and expand operations in the country.”
John Petrella, senior VP of global infrastructure services for Iron Mountain, said employees at the new facility aim to help companies and individuals with data protection and storage.
Iron Mountain offers records, information management and data storage services such as shredding and document management to customers.
