The Environmental Protection Agency has selected JLL to receive an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year award for the company’s work in the climate change arena.
The company received the climate communications award, marking the third consecutive year that JLL has received a sustained excellence award, the company announced Thursday.
JLL will be recognized April 29 during an awards ceremony in Washington.
An ENERGY STAR partner since 1998, JLL also increased its participation in the National Building Challenge with 16 properties in 2013.
The company also has an ongoing project to help its clients reduce portfolio energy consumption by 20 percent by 2020 through a commitment to the White House’s Better Building Challenge.
