Nazzic Keene, a sector president at Science Applications International Corp., has joined the board of directors of a nonprofit group that supports families of deceased soldiers.
Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors holds bereavement seminars, retreats and community-based support groups and offers a resource and information hotline for active duty military family survivors, SAIC said Tuesday.
“I am honored to be a member of the TAPS Board and I look forward to supporting its mission of providing extremely important services to assist anyone grieving the loss of a military service member,” Keene said.
Keene started at SAIC in 2012 and holds responsibility for the firm’s pipeline growth strategy execution and customer relationship management functions.
Before SAIC, she served as senior vice president and general manager of U.S. enterprise markets at CGI.
She also serves on the board of the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts and is an executive committee member at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
