Jon McCabe, formerly vice president of financial planning and analysis at SafeNet Inc., has succeeded Mike Branca as the information security firm’s chief financial officer.
He will report to President and CEO Dave Hansen and oversee functions such as accounting, tax, controllership, treasury and financial planning, among other areas, SafeNet said Tuesday.
Hansen said McCabe brings thirty years of financial leadership experience as the company aims to grow its footprint in the data protection and software monetization market.
In his previous role, McCabe worked to help the business with pricing strategies, administration, operational performance assessment and decision support.
He also held similar leadership positions at McAfee, Verizon and Genuity.
McCabe, a certified management accountant, graduated at The Ohio State University with bachelor of science degree in business administration.
