Northrop Grumman has awarded grants, worth nearly $7,000, for two science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs in Salt Lake City, UT.
One grant is meant for the development and promotion of two educational programs for young people and the other to provide job training for adults ages 18 to 30, Northrop Grumman announced Wednesday.
“Northrop Grumman recognizes the importance of STEM education and job opportunities for the future growth and prosperity of not only our company but also the nation as a whole,” said Jim Lupica, director of manufacturing and the lead campus executive for Northrop Grumman’s Salt Lake City facility.
