accenture_ExecutiveBizAccenture veterans Michael Sutcliff and Mark Knickrehm have been appointed to serve as CEOs of the company’s newly formed digital and strategic growth platforms.

Sutcliff will lead a 23,000-employee team that will work to deliver Accenture’s mobility, analytics and interactive offerings and Knickrehm will oversee an organization designed to help customers implement technology, business and operational initiatives, Accenture said Dec. 3.

Both Sutcliff and Knickrehm will also serve on the company’s global management committee.

“Our clients operate in an increasingly complex and fast-paced marketplace and we need to constantly evolve to ensure we are structured to deliver the innovative solutions they need to solve their business challenges,” Pierre Nanterme, CEO and chairman of Accenture.

Sander van’t Noordende, formerly group CEO of the managing consulting group, will succeed Gianfranco Casati in a similar position within the products operating group.

Casati will become a group chief executive for growth markets and aims to help the company expand operations in Africa, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific in his new role.
