An AECOM–Inquip joint venture has won a potential $30.7 million contract to help the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers carry out a levee construction project in West Sacramento, California.
The American River Common Features-Natomas Basin Reach H improvement effort is scheduled for completion in March 14, 2020, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
USACE received two bids for the project via an online-based competitive bidding process.
The military organization obligated the full contract amount at the time of award from fiscal 2017 and fiscal 2018 “other” construction; general; and other non-federal funds.
The American River Common Features effort will work to increase Sacramento’s flood risk management capacities by strengthening levees around the city.
