The General Services Administration has posted a request for quotation from vendors that can provide identity proofing services.
GSA said Thursday in a FedBizOpps notice that selected contractors will help verify the identity of users of the login.gov website, which is designed to give U.S. citizens access to various platforms of participating government agencies.
GSA plans to issue a multi-award blanket purchase agreement with a one-year base ordering period and four one-year option periods.
The agency will evaluate offered services under the BPA, then award task orders and rotate vendor services based on business needs for login.gov customers; population subsets that require identity proofing; vendor performance; data breach risks and financial discounts, among others.
The chosen contractors will provide one or more of the required services including identity resolution, address verification, account verification, behavioral analytics and government ID verification.
Responses to the RFQ are due Jan. 18.
