The Defense Logistics Agency has issued a request for information on cloud-based software designed to scan electronic documents with the use of thin client.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday says DLA requires an electronic scanning platform that can be hosted at a Defense Information Systems Agency-run enterprise computing center
DLA looks to acquire a CBEDS platform that features optical character recognition, optical mark recognition, automatic document and data classification, intelligent character recognition and separation features.
The platform should work to scan documents via DISA’s MilCloud services portfolio to DLA’s Document Automation Content Service program, according to the notice.
DLA also wants a platform that can be configured within a cloud-based system for development, test and staging.
Responses are due Dec. 15.
